Geertruyt Stokes

Thanks for making it this far — it probably means you’re facing real change challenges.

I’m Geertruyt Stokes, and after 25 years leading teams through transformation, here’s what I’ve learned: when everything’s breaking, we forget we’re human first, leaders second.

I’ve seen brilliant executives stall under constant restructures, shifting priorities, and teams that won’t move together. They default to spreadsheets and frameworks — when what they really need is to stay calm in the storm.

The faster tech moves, the more human connection matters. And yet, that’s exactly what gets lost.

That’s why I focus on fast, human, practical support:

  • Executives stepping into bigger roles who need to find their footing quickly.

  • Teams stuck in silos that have lost momentum.

  • Change initiatives that should work but don’t — because nobody trusts them.

Technical expertise isn’t enough anymore. The leaders who thrive are the ones who create stability when nothing feels stable, build trust across the company, and keep teams motivated through uncertainty.

I’ve worked with leaders at KPN, Shell, ING, Leiden University Medical Center, government agencies, and startups. Different industries, same human challenge: how do you lead when everything keeps changing?

That’s where I come in — helping leaders and teams get unstuck and move forward.

If you’re facing change that won’t budge, or you want to build a culture that stays human under pressure, let’s talk.

Credentials matter when you’re choosing someone to work with. Here are mine:

  • Master’s in Global Leadership Development

  • Certifications in Executive Coaching, Team Performance, and Corporate Anthropology

  • Professional Scrum Master

  • Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation

But what I value most is the 25 years I’ve spent leading real change — learning what actually helps when smart people get stuck.

Frameworks and methodologies matter. They give me solid tools. And experience taught me how to read what’s really happening, spot what’s blocking progress, and steady leaders when everything feels uncertain.

It’s the combination of proven tools and lived experience  that makes the difference.
